PALM SPRINGS 🪷 BAR ISSI
Bar Issi has officially opened inside the Thompson Palm Springs, channeling a dreamy, overdesigned coastal Italian vibe straight out of The White Lotus Season 2. Designed by Fettle’s Tom Parker, the 180 seat stunner offers brunch, dinner, and drinks in a maximalist space of Mediterranean reds and lush textures, inspired by the Madonna Inn and Sicilian summers. Expect squash blossoms, shrimp linguini, wood fired pizzas, and Cal-Calabrian twists on old money Italian, all built for sharing. The Hermers’ signature escapism feels right at home in the desert’s nightlife core.

ARCADIA 🧆 ALL INDIA CAFE 💌
All India Cafe has opened their newest location in Arcadia, blending bold Indian flavors with street food twists and a fresh cocktail program. Building on nearly thirty years of family recipes and hospitality, the new space is the brand’s first built from the ground up by second-generation owners Simran and Deep Khinda. Alongside classics like chicken tikka masala and saag paneer, the menu features modern touches like vada pav sliders, pani puri shots, and Indian-inspired whiskeys 💌

VENICE 🍷 ONLY THE WILD ONES
Only The Wild Ones is back on Abbot Kinney, bringing the Venice wine bar scene a soulful reset from The Butcher’s Daughter team. After a three year pause, the space now hums with analog vinyl, natural wines, plant forward snacks by chef Richard Rea, and cocktails like a rose mezcal negroni or reishi espresso martini. Open Wednesday through Sunday with Wild Hour specials from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, plus half off bottle deals on Wednesdays and occasional vinyl markets on Saturdays.

ARTS DISTRICT 🐔 HAPPIES HAND MADE
Happies Hand Made is a new fast casual fried chicken spot now open in the Arts District, launched by chef Joshua Skenes. Open Friday through Sunday at noon, the menu features massive Sichuan spiced chicken tenders on waffles, milk bread, or greens, alongside beef tallow fries, soft serve with seasonal toppings, and drinks like fruit teas, house sodas, cold brew with doughnuts, and frozen cocktails. The space blends a retro diner feel with kiosk ordering and a weekend-only rhythm that’s already drawing locals in.

CULVER CITY 🍹 SIP & SAVOR
Sip & Savor has officially opened on Sepulveda Boulevard in Culver City, bringing a vibrant Mexican Korean fusion tapas concept to the neighborhood. The menu features inventive small plates like crispy gyo tacos, KBB chicken wings, papas bravas, and street tacos, alongside burritos, bowls, and refreshing cocktails served on a cozy patio. Open until midnight, the restaurant has quickly gained attention for its bold flavors, welcoming atmosphere, and strong margaritas, marking a lively new addition to Culver City’s dining scene.

El Rincon Enchilado has opened in Downtown Los Angeles at 1201 South Los Angeles Street, bringing three generations of family recipes to a cozy new spot near the Santee Alley. The menu features chilaquiles with secret family sauces, birria plates, tacos, burritos, and a full brunch lineup including omelets, french toast, and carne asada with eggs. SHERMAN OAKS 🍺 CHIMNEYSWEEP LOUNGE
ChimneySweep Lounge has reopened on Woodman Avenue in Sherman Oaks, bringing back its vintage charm with original Naugahyde booths, brick walls, a central chimney, and classic jukebox. After a fifteen month closure for ownership transition and licensing, the beloved neighborhood bar returns with a refreshed cocktail program featuring Old Fashioneds and Negronis, plus complimentary bites on opening night. The lounge maintains its relaxed, throwback atmosphere where familiar faces, strong drinks, and timeless décor meet.
