🍟 RESTAURANT OPENINGS

SANTA MONICA 🍟 LIL MCDONALD’S POPUP

  • McDonald’s is launching its new Lil McDonald's Happy Meal on July 1st, featuring 21 miniature toys like tiny fries, a teeny register, and a Boo Bucket designed to spark imaginative play. Los Angeles families can experience the toy-sized world in real life at Santa Monica Place on July 19th and 20th, where McDonald’s will host a free, life-size Lil McDonald's pop up with themed zones, photo ops, and a Chicken McNuggets ball pit from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Nationwide, families can also unlock digital games, printables, and app features to extend the fun beyond the restaurant 💌

STUDIO CITY 🚀 LOCAL KITCHENS

  • Local Kitchens, the popular digital food hall concept featuring a rotating lineup of local and regional restaurants, is set to open its newest outpost in Studio City tomorrow. Located on Main Street, the micro food hall will bring together LA favorites like Howlin’ Ray’s, Afters Ice Cream, and Sweetfin under one roof, with counter service, pickup, and delivery all available through its app. This marks the brand’s first official Los Angeles location following successful launches in Northern California and Orange County.

SAWTELLE 🍣 DARUMA

  • Daruma recently opened as a virtual brand on La Grange Avenue in Sawtelle, just steps away from the Boulevard’s main strip. While the entrance is tucked away, the menu delivers familiar comfort in that of bento boxes, rice bowls like yakiniku, and sushi rolls, including a well-reviewed spicy tuna. This Japanese eatery is open primarily for delivery or pick-up for both lunch and dinner, but does have outside seating that can accommodate eight.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE 🍕 PRINCE STREET PIZZA

  • Prince Street Pizza, the beloved New York slice shop known for its signature spicy pepperoni and square SoHo Sicilian pies, officially opens its latest location next Thursday, July 10th, in Westlake Village on Russell Ranch Road. Replacing the former 101 BBQ Hut, the new outpost will offer pizza by the slice and whole pies made with scratch sauces and dough crafted using a New York-style water filtration process. This marks another SoCal expansion for the family-owned pizzeria, which also operates locations in Malibu and Studio City.

MELROSE HILL 🍣 CORRIDOR 109

  • Chef Brian Baik’s long-awaited seafood tasting concept, Corridor 109, is set to open very soon at the corner of Melrose and Western Avenues. Originally a Koreatown pop-up, then a Chinatown favorite with a $275 tasting menu inspired by Japan and Korea, the permanent location will feature an eight to ten seat counter in the rear and a more casual wine and cocktail bar called Bar 109 up front. Expect a refined, minimalist space reflecting Baik’s fine dining pedigree, with nods to Eleven Madison Park and Sushi Noz, alongside his LA roots and commitment to ingredient purity.
