🍟 RESTAURANT OPENINGS

CALABASAS + PASADENA 🍔 HIHO

  • HiHo Cheeseburger is expanding to Pasadena and Calabasas with new locations set for Fall and Winter 2025, respectively. Known for serving 100 percent grass fed Wagyu beef and a simplified, clean ingredient menu, HiHo was recently named the best burger in California. The Pasadena spot will open on East Colorado Boulevard, while the Calabasas location will be on Commons Way. Both will offer late night delivery, continuing HiHo’s mission to bring a farm to bun experience to health conscious and quality driven communities.

ECHO PARK 🫖 MEN AND BEASTS

ECHO PARK 🍹 BAR BACETTI

  • Bar Bacetti, a new aperitivo bar from the team behind Bacetti Trattoria, opens Thursday in Echo Park on Echo Park Avenue. The space, formerly Tilda, has been refreshed with green tones and natural wood, offering a cozy, airy vibe with a dog-friendly patio. Bar Bacetti celebrates Italy’s aperitivo culture with spritzes like the Two Kiss Spritz and Sofia, alongside Italian wines, zero-proof cocktails, and a menu of small plates including olives, focaccia di Recco, gnocco fritto, and pizzas blending Roman and Neapolitan styles. The bar is walk-in only, open Thursday through Tuesday from 3:00pm to 10:00pm, with a daily aperitivo hour from 3:00pm to 5:00pm featuring a complimentary snack with select drinks.

WEST HOLLYWOOD 🍨 HALL PASS

  • Hall Pass is gearing up to open on West Sunset in West Hollywood, bringing nostalgic flavors and premium ingredients to the local ice cream scene. With signage already up and interiors nearly complete, the new shop looks close to launch and is drawing comparisons to Wanderlust Creamery for its artisan vibe. Its classic meets gourmet approach positions it as a potential standout on the Sunset Strip.

WEST ADAMS 🐚 CENTO Raw Bar

  • Cento Raw Bar quietly opened last month in West Adams, bringing a moody, marine-inspired seafood experience from the team behind Cento Pasta Bar. Designed by creative director Brandon Miradi, the space includes sculptural interiors and a modular seafood tower with oysters, uni, and crab legs. Chef Avner Levi’s menu reinterprets LA’s seafood scene with playful takes like a caviar sandwich on a warm roll and cold squid ink noodles with white soy and uni, all meant for sharing with wine or cocktails.

PICO-ROBERTSON 🍔 CORRIDOR 18

  • Corridor 18 is the newest addition to Pico Robertson’s kosher dining scene, serving up gourmet burgers and elevated comfort food in a retro styled space designed for quick pickup and delivery. Recently opened, the fast casual spot is already drawing crowds for its over the top creations like the Signature Corridor Burger with truffle aioli and beef bacon onion jam, crispy chicken sandwiches, and indulgent Messy Fries. Fully certified kosher under RCC, Corridor 18 offers a quirky yet focused experience Sunday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 10:00pm on W Pico Boulevard.
